Wahiba
I was in the Wahiba Sands this past weekend. We went up a dune to catch the sunset but instead of that I ended up taking lots of pictures of these camels. Unfortunately in my rush I had put on a cheap slow lens on the camera and some of the best shots came out too blurry to use. Click each picture to view full size or you can see the full photoset on Flickr.
I don't think there is much of a weather change. It is usually hot in the morning and freezing at night. I just think its a bit cooler during some months more than others
Hey hibba.. nice to see you back in the world of blogging. The camera I used is a Nikon D70s. These pictures were taken on full auto. I didn't fiddle around with the manual controls at all. Probably would have turned out better if I had the patience for that.
They're pretty good, but you can sense that they are effortless and more or less camera work .. The luxury of having a DSLR is that they response much better cameras if Apreture and Shutter and Flash settings are used correctly ...
The timing is pretty good, but a little too late for "that" kind of shots, and a little too early for the "other" kind of shots .. Makes no sense I know, but all I can show is visual samples ...
Other than that, these are pretty good shots, wisely variated, and the content is well chosen .. Keep it Muscati, you got better

Correct me if I am wrong.

gorgeous pics especially the first and third. Save them for a photography competition ...
too bad I am in UAE, where Flickr is blocked so people cannot see pictures! I am so annoyed.
